The Naval Hackathon is a national-level competition aimed at addressing real-world operational challenges with innovative technological solutions. With a focus on India's advanced industries, participants will get the opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and present solutions across multiple technological domains.

How to Participate

Step 1: Register as an individual or team.

Step 2: On October 22, choose a problem statement(s) from one of the five themes.

Step 3: Submit your solution by October 26.

Step 4: Solutions will be evaluated by a panel of Judges on October 27.

Step 5: Winners will be informed on an individual basis on October 28 between 4 pm - 8 pm

Step 6: Prize Distribution Ceremony on October 29.


Problem statements

Application Load Balancer on OpenStack

Develop a cloud-native Application Load Balancer on the OpenStack platform with features of dynamic traffic distribution, High Availability, Fault Tolerance and Health Monitoring.

Drone Swarm Coordination

Decentralised system to coordinate a swarm of autonomous drones for reconnaissance and surveillance missions

Maritime Situational Awareness

Scan and analyse textual maritime reports, extract details about potential contacts and plot these identified contacts on a radar/map

Navigation and real-time tracking of flying objects

Develop an optical flow tracking algorithm capable of achieving sub-pixel accuracy for enhanced navigation and real-time tracking of flying objects in dynamic environments

AI/ML-based solution to separate and identify speech from 4 to 7 people who are speaking simultaneously or concurrently, while also removing background noise.

Anyone with a passion for innovation and knowledge related to the announced themes is welcome to participate!

The registration and submission period opens on October 22 and will remain open until October 26.

Participation is completely free of charge—there is no registration fee.

The specific themes and problem statements will be revealed on October 22.

Participants can join as individuals or as part of a team of 1 to 5 members.

Prizes include ₹3 lakh for the winner and ₹2 lakh for the runner-up for each of the five themes.
