The Internal Hackathon is Your First Battle<\/h2>\n

More teams are eliminated at the internal round than at any other stage.<\/strong> Your college SPOC (Single Point of Contact) runs an internal hackathon in September 2026 and nominates only the best teams. Here’s how to be one of them.<\/p>\n

How Internal Selection Works<\/h2>\n

  1. SPOC announces<\/strong> the internal hackathon date (usually September)<\/li>\n
  2. Teams register<\/strong> with their chosen problem statement and initial idea<\/li>\n
  3. 48-hour internal hackathon<\/strong> (some colleges do 24 hours or just presentations)<\/li>\n
  4. SPOC + faculty jury<\/strong> evaluate all teams<\/li>\n
  5. Top 2-5 teams<\/strong> are nominated on the official SIH portal<\/li>\n
  6. SPOCs upload PPTs and videos<\/strong> for national screening<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
